The Tractor In Olson Valley

Sometimes I really enjoy it when an old story Im told about years ago gets linked with a possible scenerio of actually existing. I was told a few times that when people visited Olson Valley in the 1970’s to 80’s they saw a tractor in the middle of the creek bed and as the story went it was the hippies that drove it in there before they were kicked out. Well now 2010 along comes an email from Dave who sends me two pictures, and behold a tractor. I asked about the possibility of this being the tractor and his answer was “Hi.That would probably be the same tractor which probably now buried in the old river. bed The house in the picture was burnt down with the rest.Or that house could have been swept down the river as the river made an island of it which gradually washed away in high water.”

So now comes the question, where is this house and where is the tractor, soon I hope I am going in on a quad as soon as someone can show me the way, thanks Dave appreciate the pictures
