Stillwater Logging Bed + Steam Furnace

One doesnt have to go far in Powell River to find remnants of the old places, Stillwater Damn is one place easily accessed but its not every year you can see all that is actually there. Not too long ago I went there, I havent been there since I was a kid but I recalled the Steam Kettle and was surprised to see it pretty much as I recalled it. In these pics I took you will see the old railbed when they built the first crib dam there. If you look at this link, you will see it if you look closely enough. http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/cgi-bin/www2i/.visual/img_med/dir_159/i_52114.gif
