I lived in Powell River as a kid from 1955 til 1961,and later from 1969 til 1974.As a kid I used to play around the Shinglemill and took trips up the lake to Olsens Landing.I always wanted to get up to Olsens Valley before it was raised to the ground by the Company in the 70's,but I never made it.I have many books about PR and the Lake and am always keen to get photos of the Valley.
