Abandon Car

A little while ago my cousin Tim was walking in the backcountry on Vancouver Island and came across this car. Now although its not in Powell River the subject of things lost are always interesting to me. Years ago when I used to walk through the bush, abandon vehicles were commonplace, they were everywhere, then metal became valuable and scrap collectors were everywhere and man did those vehicles in the bush disappear quick.

So coming across a car these days is becoming rare, this car though is an oddity, engine still in it, everything is there as it was when ever it was left, it appears to have gotton a flat, hubcap taken off and then the jack laid out to change the tire and thats how it has stayed for years.
